Administrative Professionals on campus are often the glue that keeps departments and divisions together despite busy schedules and seasons of stress. To honor these staff members, the college will host a brunch from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, the designated “Administrative Professionals” day.

“We like to honor these professional on the day it’s traditionally observed, but we aren’t stopping there,” said SCCC Vice President of Student Services Celeste Donovan. “Once the semester wraps up, we will also host a bowling and pizza party at Billy’s Ayr Lanes from 3 to 5 p.m. May 23.”

Spring service awards at Seward County Community College are slated for the final Friday of spring hours, at 11:30 a.m. May 12 in the Jesus A. Manriquez Showcase Theater. The event recognizes SCCC employees for five-year increments of service to the college, as well as honoring retirees. Following the services awards, the campus will enjoy a picnic lunch and afternoon games.
