When patrons exercise at the Seward County Community College Wellness Center, they often tell the staff “thanks,” as they exit the facility. Liberal retiree Chris McNeil went further: he donated an additional piece of equipment to the Wellness Center.
“We wanted to offer our community something easy, fun, and exciting as we move from Thanksgiving weekend to the Christmas season,” said SCCC President Brad Bennett. “And we thought, what better way than cookies and hot cocoa?”
SCCC Alumni who studied Criminal Justice in the late 1980s and early ’90s surprised retired instructor Larry Wade, now residing in Booker, Texas, with a mini reunion the first weekend in November.
