LIBERAL, Kan. – Due to impending inclement weather, Seward County Community College will close all of its campuses – including the Industrial Technology School and the Colvin Adult Learning Center – on Wednesday. Classes may still be in session through remote options at the discretion of instructors. Students are advised to check their school email or log in to Canvas.
With a winter storm expected to hit southwest Kansas over the next few days, the decision to close the campus was based on the safety of students, faculty and staff.
“With the possibility of hazardous driving conditions, especially of those coming from out of town, we decided to that it was best to close the campuses,” said SCCC President Greg Gunderson.
