SCCC helps with vaccination process, shows support for healthy and safe community

LIBERAL – Seward County Community College continued to show its commitment to a safe and healthy community by supporting the Seward County Health Department with its COVID-19 vaccination rollout at the Seward County Activity Center on Wednesday.

SCCC employees, who were part of the 600 people receiving vaccinations, volunteered their time during the all-day event by helping with paperwork, answering questions and directing people to the vaccination stations.

SCCC President Brad Bennett praised the county and had nothing but appreciation for the employees who volunteered their time.

“The county health department organized an amazing process for administering vaccines and it was great to see SCCC employees scattered throughout the Activity Center helping in a variety of ways,” Bennett said. “This is what it means to be part of the Saints Family. This is why “Community” is in the middle of our name. It’s at the core of everything we do.”
