It’s busy, busy at SCCC

It will be a busy day of activities at Seward County Community today with a transfer visit, a celebration, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and athletic events!

Kansas State will be visiting the SCCC caKSUWildcats_logo.svgmpus with representatives from its academic colleges. Students interested in transferring to KSU can visit with the representatives from 9:30 to 11:30 am in the Hobble Academic Building.

TRiO/Student Support Services will bfirst_generation_logo-color_trioe observing the first annual First Generation College Celebration. Join us in recognizing and celebrating the presence and experiences of first-generation college students, faculty and staff from 10 am to noon in the Hobble Academic Building. There’s going to be cake, refreshments and giveaways!!!

10.26.17 Louie's Place openingThe Chamber of Commerce is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Louie’s Place at 1 p.m. The public is invited for free cookies and punch. There will also be ribbon-cutting offers such as a free muffin or scone with a beverage purchase as well as reward cards offering free coffee for repeat customers.

And if that’s not enough, both basketballsaints-logo1 teams are in action at the Greenhouse tonight, beginning at 6 pm. The Lady Saints start the action with a battle against Frank Phillips College followed by the Saints against Lamar Community College (JV).
