SCCC graduates can now earn four-year degrees at low- or no-cost, thanks to a unique partnership with Newman University. All students who have or will earn an associate’s degree from SCCC automatically qualify for a $20,000 scholarship, as well as a matching Pell Grant award.
Bachelor’s degrees offered by Newman for this partnership include agriculture technology management, applied artificial intelligence, business, certified financial planning, computer science, data science, game development, nursing, and teaching.
Once students have completed their associate’s degree, they will be seamlessly transitioned into a student of Newman University where they can complete the remainder of their bachelor’s degree. All of this is done through the SCCC campus, affording students to convenience of remaining local while achieving their educational goals. It is possible for a student to attend for as little $750 per year.
A Newman University recruiter will be on the SCCC campus one day each week throughout fall semester. Planned dates include: Sept. 29, October 8, 15, 20 and 27; Nov. 3, 10, and 17; and Dec. 1.
